Sarong Lizard Green, hand-painted Java batik on lightweight viscose. Signature motif and vibrant colours — a unique piece for the beach or city.

The animal that tends towards the human by getting rid of its caudal appendage, a vestige of the past, to continue its evolution and move towards the future…

Lizard Green at a glance

The lizard that drops its tail to keep going: a motif about moulting and starting over, worked in deep greens. The line is nervous, almost graphic.

Green sits well on tanned skin and pairs with off-white, khaki and denim. Tied at the waist for the beach, pulled up as shorts for a swim. Our guide to tying a men’s sarong shows both positions.

Light viscose, 210 x 115 cm before the tube seam, inside pocket. Hand-painted in Java, limited run.
